Welcome to the HIT Project Management Office. The goals of the unit are as follows:
- Standardize process and introduce economies of scale with the execution of projects
- Provide a mechanism to measure and report progress, thereby increasing communication
- Align demand and resources for new projects and major enhancements to existing applications
- Greatly enhance the planning that occurs within HIT as well as the greater Health Affairs community
- Act as a key component of Change Management
