Change your Network Password
This is the password used to authenticate yourself to the HIT network. It is the first one you use when logging on to your computer in the morning.
Note: To change ECHTHC domain user passwords, replace "MSUFGP" with "ECHTHC" on the next page.
ZPID / APID
In order to better serve our users and in an effort to increase security, HIT uses ZPID and APID information to further identify users when they call Support Services for password resets.
All MSU faculty/staff should have a ZPID and all students should have an APID. This number is located on your MSU issued ID card or can also be found at https://myid.msu.edu (NOTE: When checking your ZPID or APID at https://myid.msu.edu, you will be required to use your MSUnetid to log in). In the event that you need a password reset and you do not have a ZPID or APID, please contact your respective department or clinic manager.
Please make yourself familiar with this number as you may be asked to provide it during a support call.
If you have any questions regarding this system, please call us at 355-6531.
