Important Message Regarding Angel Upgrade

Dear HIT Users,

On Thursday and Friday, May 14th and 15th 2009, Academic Technology Services (ATS) will be upgrading the ANGEL course management system at Michigan State University to a new version. During this time, ANGEL will be unavailable.

Because of compatibility issues, Internet Explorer 6.0 is not supported with the new version of ANGEL. The ANGEL team highly recommends that users of ANGEL upgrade their computers to Internet Explorer 7 and/or add Mozilla Firefox 3, as both of these browsers are supported.

Important Note: Users need to be careful when upgrading to Internet Explorer 7. If you use the following programs on your computer, please do not upgrade to Internet Explorer 7. In order to work properly, these programs need Internet Explorer 6.0.

Programs that require Internet Explorer 6.0:

• Centricity (EMR/Logician)
  
• Advance Web (New IDX program)

If you use these programs and need to access ANGEL or have questions about the ANGEL upgrade, please call HIT Support Services 355-6531.
