Important Message to Health Information Technology Customers

In order to better serve our users and in an effort to increase security, HIT will begin using ZPID and APID information to further identify users when they call Support Services for password resets. Effective Monday December 1st, we will no longer accept the HIT provided PIN for identity verification.

All MSU faculty/staff should have a ZPID and all students should have an APID. This number is located on your MSU issued ID card or can also be found here https://myid.msu.edu (NOTE: You will be required to use your MSUnetid to log in). In the event that you need a password reset and you do not have a ZPID or APID, please contact your respective department or clinic manager.

Please make yourself familiar with this number as you may be asked to provide it during a support call.
